i will see dead people.
for money.
in 30 hours i will relocate, yet again, though this time to dallas, for the first time, in order to film homicide detectives doing their jobs.
i will certainly see my first dead people ever, as they will call me each time they have to go look at one. not the dead people, the detectives. on average, this happens four times a week in dallas. i will be there for 4-8 weeks, which means 16-32 bodies.
a man's gotta make a living.
(if you want me to actually delve into my feelings on my future video-journalism-ish exploits, well, you'll have to wait, though i assure you they run deeper than making a buck, even in my current destitution).

doctor's orders
i've been back in LA for almost 2 weeks. kept thinking i was going back to new york because that's where i left from and then came back here so ok but then would wake up and have minutes of not knowing where i was like what country even.
that finally seems to have passed.
what hasn't passed is any money into my bank account. no pay. no reimbursement for my 750 dollar phonebill. so i'm kinda broke. which was also the case in laos, where they have no atms so we had to put everything on credit cards so were forced to stay in the nicest possible hotels and eat at the fancy-pantsiest of restaurants.
when you're poor you have no choice but to live rich.
i will maybe elaorate on this theory or even just tell a story at some point but right now i don't care to.
what also hasn't passed is my foot-wound. i may lose a toe after all...
but no, says the american doctor. he prescribes "rest. and this cream."
to that i say, "perfect!" and rest away, purchasing extravagent things on credit cards whilst applying my cream.
and but now today it seems i may be hired later to film dead people and the peopple who try to catch the people who made the people dead for my next job.
smiles!
